Prima Industrie presents a new initiative, called OPEN EXPERIENCE, which will start in Italy in the week between 24 and 28 May: it is a week entirely dedicated to customer visits in total safety. The entire range of products for the processing of sheet metal and additive manufacturing available for live demonstrations and meetings with specialists to discover the latest technological innovations in the sector and receive advice on incentives related to the Transition Plan 4.0.

During 2020, the group launched the Prima @ Home initiative, a streaming platform for virtual and interactive demos, events and product launches to keep in touch with customers even from a distance and despite travel restrictions. Today, with the decrease in infections and the vaccination campaign in progress, we can finally be more confident and begin to combine virtual events with those in presence.

Not being able to meet its customers at the Lamiera fair in Milan, which was postponed for a year, Prima Industrie has decided to create a week for them and for the operators of the sector in which they can come in person and in total safety at the headquarters in Collegno (TO ) to attend demonstrations and be updated on the latest technological innovations.

During the OPEN EXPERIENCE the wide range of innovative, low environmental impact and highly digitized technologies of Prima Power and Prima Additive will be on show: 2D and 3D laser cutting, bending and paneling, punching, combined punching-shearing, Flexible Manufacturing System (FMS), additive manufacturing with Powder Bed Fusion and Direct Energy Deposition technology.

Prima Additive products are available at the Advanced Laser Center (ALC) of Collegno and within the CIM 4.0, the Competence Center of Turin, created thanks to the collaboration between the Polytechnic, the University of Turin and thirty among the main technological companies in the area, including Prima Industrie.

The OPEN EXPERIENCE initiative that Prima Industrie inaugurated on May 24 represents the group's commitment to being concretely alongside its customers and supporting them in their resilient and sustainable restart.
